this is an old mechanical computer that was used to crack the codes of the enigma machine used by the nazis in world war two.
it’s super huge and expensive and impossibly complicated, i can’t even begin to conceive how to design something like this.
upon further research, this was designed by alan turing.
i learned about him/the stuff he made/did in school, he’s a pretty crazy dude.
